Barbie was one of the best movies I have seen recently, at any level. It’s such a brilliantly shot, acted and designed movie that sometimes you forget the foundation it stands on is this perfectly written, perfectly structured script. It artfully moves you from Act to Act smoothly, and there’s never really a sense of a loss of pace. There could be an argument made that the occasional singing and dancing scenes could take you out of the movie, but because this movie is Barbie, I would argue it absolutely doesn’t.

Rap and rock have traditionally been opposed. Both genres and their conventions have lent themselves to elements of rawness, but together, there is a bitter harmony that I believe will be the defining sound of the 2020s before the decade is up. Enter Paris Texas, an alternative hip hop group comprised of rapper-producers Loiue Pastel and Felix.

he Oxbow Incident might seem like a small film. But its emotional impact is devastating. This is a classic Western, but it really is underrated as a classic film. Very few movies have told a story this chilling as simply and succinctly.

I know nothing about this artist. He also doesn’t seem like a real person. The beats and bars are repetitive, clawing melodies out of jarring rythyms that don’t work the first 5 times you hear them. Then, somehow, after xaviersobased says it for the 6th time, it sort of works

The Finals! A hot new freemium/Battle Pass game from Embark Studios, makers of…..(looks it up)….ARC Raiders and wim (literally what it’s called). Never heard of them. However, I’ve heard of The Finals. I’ve been watching it on Twitch since it was in pre-release.

If Lego Fortnite was a finished game being sold in stores, you’d think it’s fun, but a little underwhelming. But as a free live-service game in it’s first update cycle, it shows a tremendous amount of potential.

Today we’re talking about Gate of Hell, a 1953 jidaegeki (period drama) film. Set in 12th Century Japan, the movie focuses on a samurai Endō Morito, and his obsession with a lady-in-waiting Kesa. It’s not a classic love story. It’s actually a painful and scary love story, mainly because it’s so realistic.

Like many things in life. the Nicki Minaj Nocho Nacho is an allegory for the profound disappointment that will eventually overtake us all.

What makes this book great, is I would recommend this book to almost everyone. If you don’t like movies, this will keep you on a path of good ones. If you love movies, there will be absolutely be some cool ones you haven’t seen in here. If you’re just a normal person who enjoys a flick every once in a while, this is a great reference book.

After a few months off, I finally made my glorious return to the Lands Between, eager to make some new builds for the upcoming DLC which…remains upcoming.

A cruise ship is a very strange place. There’s unlimited food, unlimited drinks and pretty much everything to do. The ship I was on had a waterslide, hot tubs, swimming pools, a basketball court, like 15 bars…I mean it was basically a floating city block.
